You Are The Light Of The World

Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."
Matthew 5:14-16

I pray, Lord, Your glorious love and Your light shines brightly in my mind, heart and soul. Thank You for guiding me everyday as I seek Your presence.

Father, how may I glorify You today?"

God said, "Rise up and shine your light on Jesus. Show others how much you love the One who gave His life for you. Prepare the way for others to come to Jesus and know His presence. Glorify Your Lord with all your heart."

Father, I pray that You will fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I may be bold and loving in glorifying You. May I be like Your Son Jesus. May I be loving and be a friend to everyone in my life.

Jesus, may all that is You flow into me and draw me closer to You. The more I call on You, the more I feel Your presence.

I pray that I may be an example and an inspiration of Your love. I pray that Your scriptures, Your truth will come alive in me and in everything I think and say and do.

Lord, live in me. May Your thoughts be my thoughts and Your words be my words, always in love, always in Your wisdom, and always giving enlightenment.
