You Who Believe In My Son Have Eternal Life

"You who believe in the name of My Son Jesus know that you have eternal life. And this boldness you have in Him, that if you ask anything according to His will, He hears you. And if you know He hears you in whatever you ask, you know that you have obtained the requests made of Him."
I John 5: 13-15

I pray...
Father the moment I could truly say,"I know Jesus, I know that I know that I know, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit," that was the moment the light came on in my life, the moment I felt true peace and joy and love in my life.

Lord, thank You for making Your presence known to me so boldly and so poetically the first time. When I was at one of the lowest points in my life, with no job and in bad health, sustained only by the love of my wife and my faith in You, I was on my knees praying for Your help and Your Holy Spirit took my hand, and wrote beautiful words of poetry assuring me of Your love and that You were with me, and that You would provide for all my needs. That was the first time I knew that You were actually speaking to me and that all was well. You lifted me out of the darkness into the light. You encouraged me to move forward and that everything was possible through You. Thank You for Your saving grace.

And thank You for making Your loving presence known to me now, every day, especially in my quiet time when I read and pray and meditate on Your Holy Word.

Lord, when my spirit rises up to meet Yours, and I boldly claim Your promises, there is an explosion of love and humility in my heart. There is always a feeling of awe and wonder at the power of Your love and the fact that You lift sinners like me out of the darkness into Your Holy Light.

Jesus, how may I glorify You today?

Jesus said, "Be still and know that I am God. Listen to everything I have to say.
Pray for My wisdom and My presence and you'll always know what to say and do."

"Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive." Matthew 21:22

"Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be Yours." Mark 11:24

"Rejoice in hope, persevere in prayer, being filled with the Spirit at all times."
Ephesians 6:18

"Beloved, build yourself up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit."
Jude 20
