Your Prayers Have Been Heard

An angel appeared to Zechariah saying, "Your prayers have been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear You a son and you will name him John. You will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. With the spirit and power of Elijah he will go before him to turn the hearts of parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of righteousness, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

The angel said, "I am Gabriel I stand in the presence of God and I have been sent to bring you good news." Luke 1:5-25

Lord,thank You for choosing me to be one of Your children. Thank You for Your child, Your Son Jesus, sent into the world to save our souls.

Lord, thank You for the gift of Your love and presence in my life. You have lifted me into the light and brought me Your good news. Lord, I rejoice and share Your loving spirit with everyone I meet.

Lord, may I be filled with Your Holy Spirit and power to share Your story with others.

I stand in Your presence. I believe in You. I have faith in You and I trust You. I stand in awe of Your love and power. Your created me for a loving relationship with You and my sisters and brothers. Let it be in my life as You command.

How may I glorify You today?

Jesus said, "Feed My children. Love My children. Open the door to heaven so the children can come in. Let your heavens open up so we can see Your light and Your love welcoming us. Open your mind, heart and soul to Me and I will come in and bless you and be with you always."

I pray...
Lord, may it be on earth as it is in heaven today and everyday. Let Your light shine on all who turn to You. Let my life be a blessing to others in everything I think and say and do.

Blessed be You Lord for You have looked favorably on Your people and redeemed us. You raised up a mighty Savior for us, and delivered us from our enemies.

You gave us salvation and by Your tinder mercy, the dawn form on high will break upon us, to give light to those in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide us into the way of peace.

Life is good! Enjoy the holiday season. Celebrate the reason!
