Jesus said, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your house today. So he hurried down and was happy to welcome Jesus. In fact, Zacchaeus said, "Lord look, half of my possessions I will give tho the poor.
Jesus then said, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he too is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek out and save the lost."
Luke 19:5-10
I pray...
Lord, how great is the happiness of that man that receives and entertains You, not for a day, or a year, or for millions of years, but for eternity.
Jesus, I welcome You into my heart by faith while I am here on earth and then You will make me welcome with You everlastingly in Your kingdom.
Jesus, the experience of receiving Your salvation, feeling Your presence and knowing Your love is an awesome and amazing experience. Being baptised in Your Holy Spirit is like nothing I've ever experienced before.
Thank You for saving my soul. Thank You for letting my experience Your love.
Jesus, how may I glorify You today? I want You to be able to say of me, "This is My son in whom I am well pleased."
Jesus said, "Invite the lost in this world to experience My love and salvation. Tell them I love them and want to develop a deep loving friendship with them. And know that when one person who is lost receives salvation, the angels sing in heaven!"
If those who are lost and in need will just turn to Me, I will come to them, and lift them out of a lost world into My light. I will love them and provide for their needs each day."
"I am like the father in the story of the Prodigal son. My clearest picture of the Father shows God coming out to meet us as soon as we turn Godward.
I pray...
Let the angels in heaven sing continuously, as a lost world comes to You Lord.
Joy is in the world. Your are here! Let the whole earth be full of Your glory.
As a side note, after a day of decorating our home and Christmas tree,my grandson Eli was looking at a Christmas card that my wife and I gave him, and he ask me what the word joy means. I told him that joy means happiness. Eli said, "Oh! I am full of happiness! And then he said, "Poppa, you are full of love!" My heart melted!
What a gift God has given us in our children and grand children! What joy they offer us if we only stop and listen to them. Lord, I see Your presence and Your joy and wonder in every child.
Lord, let me be full of Your joy and wonder for others.
