The Dawn From On High Will Break Upon You, To Give Light

"Your child will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare His ways, to give knowledge of salvation to His people, by the forgiveness of their sins. By My tender mercy, the dawn from on high will break upon you, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide us into the way of peace." Luke 1:67-79

Lord, as I prepare to celebrate your birth, celebrate Your love, I seek Your holy presence with every breath I take. Let me be a light in the celebration of Your birthday. And let it be an opportunity for me to share Your love and Your story with others.

Lord, I seek Your presence and Your wisdom to help me discover what I am and what I am to become. Jesus, may my heart become one with Yours.

Jesus, You have loved me and forgiven me of my sins. You have lifted me out of the darkness into Your holy light. Thank You Lord for saving my soul. Thank You for making me whole.

Jesus, may all that is You flow into me and may You heal, restore and renew my mind, body, heart and soul. May I be strong and healthy and full of energy and enthusiasm for You and with You.

Jesus, how may I glorify You today?

Jesus said, "Today you will save someones life. Be alert. Be aware of all those around you. Open your eyes and ears to see and hear Me in every circumstance. Love those you are with. Be My light of love for those in need."
