The Spirit Of The Lord Is Upon You

Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring good news (the gospel) to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." Luke 4:18-19

I pray...
Lord, You have made Your presence known to me, through the scriptures, prayer, and meditation, Your Holy Spirit. You have anointed me to bring good news to the poor and the poor of heart. You have sent me to proclaim Your freedom and release the captives of sin and recovery of sight to the blind so they may see Your glory, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.

Lord, You have filled me with Your Holy Spirit, Your love, Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding, so I may share Your good news with others. You have filled me with Your pure creative heart, Your hope, joy and peace that I may bring light and love into the hearts of many.

Jesus, may all that is You flows into me with Your energy and enthusiasm to bring the word of salvation to the world. May Your passion and death be my strength and life.
