Blessed Are You Who Will Eat Bread In The Kingdom Of Heaven

The Parable of the Great Dinner
"Blessed are you and anyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of heaven."

Jesus said, "Someone gave a great dinner and invited many. He sent his slave to invite many and say to them, come, for everything is ready now. But they all began to make excuses why they could not come. So the slave reported this to his master. The the owner of the house became angry and said to his slave go out at once into the streets of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.
The slave said, sir, what you ordered has been done and still there is room. Then the master said go into the roads and lanes and compel people to come so that my house is filled. For I tell you, none of those who were invited will taste my dinner." Luke 14:15-24

I pray...
Father, You are the God of Surprises and will undoubtedly baffle us tomorrow as you have today, by the sheer extravagance and inclusion of Your grace. You have told us we will be surprised by the sort of people who will populate the kingdom of heaven.
And Lord, I know that if You invited me into Your kingdom, You will invite just about anyone.

Father, I accepted You invitation and You lifted me out of the darkness into Your light and salvation. Lord thank You for Your awesome grace, and for letting me become a child of Your kingdom.

Jesus, may all that is You flow into me and may Your light shine through me as an invitation for all to come into Your kingdom.

God said, "My invitation is from My heart. My love is for all, but I am very disappointed in those who do not respond to My invitation. All are invited to prayer, to love and to worship."

I pray...
Lord, I come to You today and ask that You fill my heart and my whole being with the wonder of Your presence. Let me not get caught up with the trappings of wealth in this life. Grant that I may be free form greed and selfishness. Remind me that the best things in life are from You. Love, laughter, caring and sharing are from You.

Lord, how may I glorify You today? Surprise me Lord, show me the way.

God said, "Look for those in darkness, who need my light to survive. Bless them with My love and encouragement, and watch them come alive."

"I invite everyone into My kingdom from the rich and famous to the poorest and lamest.
I open the door to heaven and invite everyone in.
I offer everyone salvation and forgiveness of their sin.
The door is open to a life of love and joy and peace.
My love for you is never ending and My blessings never cease."

I pray...
Bless me Lord to be a blessing today.
Let me help someone find their way.

Lord, You are my Lord and Master, my Father and my King,
You fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me in everything.

I love You and praise Your Holy Name,
and know that in Your kingdom love is the name of the game.
