Love Your Enemies

Jesus: "You have heard it said that you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who persecute or curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes the sun rise on the evil and the good. Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5: 43-47

And I pray...
Jesus, may Your perfect love and Your perfect example teach me how to love my enemies as well as my friends.

Jesus, may all that is You flow into me and may I have an attitude of love for everyone in my life.

Some say that "Attitude Is Everything." I believe that if I take on Your perfect attitude of love, and live in an attitude of then I will be more like You. Lord, You are full of love and joy and hope for our lives, for the future and for eternity.

Lord Jesus, how may I glorify You today? I seek Your presence, Your spirit of love in everything I think and say and do.

Lord, may Your love for me and my love for You help me overcome all the obstacles in my life today. May I show others Your love and joy. May I be a blessing to someone today.
