It Is Finished!

"It is finished! And bowing His head, Jesus gave up His Spirit."
John 19:30

And I prayed...Lord Jesus, there are no words to express the sadness I feel for the pain and death You willing went through for me. There are no words to express the gratitude I feel for what You have done for me. You gave up Your life to save me from my sins, that I might live in the light of Your love. Thank You Lord Jesus, with all my heart, and mind, and soul, and strength, I thank You, I love You, I believe in You, I have faith in You, and I trust You.

You have made all things new in my life, through Your passion and Your death. Your cross is the new sign of hope. Let me always live under the shadow of Your cross, and proclaim the hope of that cross forever.

Jesus, may all that is You flow into me, and may Your spirit make all things new in my life and in the lives of those around me.

May I lift up my eyes to heavens and understand just how much You love me, so I can love others as You have loved me. My earnest desire is to hear You say, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.

You are my Father, my Master, and my Friend and I seek Your presence in all things at all times.

Lord, how can I glorify You today and everyday.

And Jesus said, "I have set an example of how you should live in love and compassion. Know My words and obey them. Rejoice! Let your loving spirit be made known to all men."

And I prayed...Lord, may Your loving Spirit heal, restore, and renew me and all who seek You, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
