Abide in Me Forever

"Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
He who loves Me and does My will abides forever.:
I John 1:15-17

And I prayed...
Lord, I am filled with gratitude for Your love and all the blessings You have given me. Help me to always seek You and Your love first. I seek the blessing of Your presence in everything I think, and say, and do. Forgive me Lord when I become prideful or delight in worldly things. My love and my joy is in You and in my family and friends and in Your people.

You are the first and the last and forever in me. I believe in You, I have faith in You and I trust in You in everything. I love not the world, but only You.

I pray that You will continue to give me eyes of faith, that I may see the world, what in truth it is, the danger of its riches, the folly of its pleasures, the multitude of its snares, the power of its temptations, its deadly poisons, and certain danger of drawing my heart from loving You.

I come to You today asking that You fill my heart, mind and soul with the wonder of Your presence and power of Your love.

Help me Lord, notice how Your are speaking to me and help me understand the direction You give me.

Jesus, may all that is You flow into me, and give You glory for all to see.
