I heard angels sing

I was with God today and heard His angels sing…
“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of Hosts:
The whole earth is full of His Glory.”
Isa. 6:30

And I prayed…

The angels, before Your throne, singing the song of seraphim, might
well fill my heart with deep, awe and reverence, as I behold these
blessed and holy beings lifting You up in this grand anthem of praise.

The angels saw Your holiness and they saw the earth in light of Your holiness.
I sometimes see the earth as a wilderness, a dark, worrisome place, but to
the angels, as seen by them from their place beside Your throne, ”The whole
earth is full of Your glory.

And when I seek You and draw near to You and look at the earth in light
of Your love, I see that Glory, and join in this song of adoration.

Lord, I see Your glory in creation, the whole earth and the heavens above
declare Your glory and every creature has its own wonderful story to
relate of the hand that formed it, and the Power that preserves it.

But if creation manifests Your glory, far more is it shown by Your wonderful work of
Redemption. If I could see the world as the angels see it, I would find nothing in history
so full of the revelation of Your glory as those years which Your Son dwelt on earth as the
Son of Man.

This is the special glory of our earth,
And it marks forever as a place worthy of the angels’ gaze.
Angels talk of Your Glory, You who are the Lord of Hosts.
Holy, Holy, Holy, and because Your once dwelt here below among us. “The whole earth is full of Your Glory. Amen.
