Looking for Hope

They are hungry and hopeless, traveling form place to place,
looking for food and shelter, seeking a friendly face.

We should love and care for these families in need,
and offer them bread in both word and deed.

We can show our love to these children of strife,
by giving them hope, a chance at a new life.

They are hungry and homeless with no place to go,
They are becoming angry because help comes so slow.

If we don't help them now, they may help themselves;
When a man's child is hungry, he'll empty our shelves.

There are millions of homeless in this fair land,
and the number will double if we don't lend a hand.

God's perfect will, is to love Him and one another.
We achieve both by helping our brother.

We have th e opportunity to serve our fellow man,
we have the opportunity to fulfill God's perfect plan.
